These Lifetime Deal Terms (the "Lifetime Terms") are an addendum to the CardPlan Terms of Service (the "General Terms") between you and In Flow LLC, a California limited liability company and operator of CardPlan ("CardPlan," "we," "us," or "our"). They apply only if you buy the CardPlan Connected Lifetime Deal (the "Lifetime Deal"). They incorporate the 2026 Lifetime Feature Schedule (the "Feature Schedule") and the Privacy Policy.
1. Scope and Order of Precedence
These Lifetime Terms, the Feature Schedule, and the General Terms together form your agreement for the Lifetime Deal. If they conflict about the Lifetime Deal, the following order applies, from highest to lowest: (a) any mandatory provision of applicable law; (b) these Lifetime Terms; (c) the Feature Schedule; (d) the General Terms. The consent and disclosure statements shown to you immediately before payment are a summary of these Lifetime Terms and do not add to or reduce them. Payment-processor screens display the price and payment details only.
For the Lifetime Deal specifically:
- Subscription terms do not apply. Sections 12 (Subscriptions and Automatic Renewal) and 13 (Trials, Discounts, and Promotional Offers) of the General Terms, and CardPlan's subscription cancellation, renewal, and price-change practices, apply to monthly and annual subscriptions and not to the Lifetime Deal. The Lifetime Deal has no renewal, no billing period, and no recurring charge.
- Refunds. Section 14 of the General Terms applies to the Lifetime Deal only as modified by Section 14 of these Lifetime Terms, which controls.
- Checkout-specific terms. Section 11 of the General Terms states that checkout-specific terms control for the price and the purchased feature. For the Lifetime Deal, the checkout-specific terms are these Lifetime Terms and the Feature Schedule.
- "Specific paid commitment." Section 22 of the General Terms refers to a "specific paid commitment" CardPlan has made to you. For the Lifetime Deal, the only such commitment is the one stated in these Lifetime Terms. Nothing in advertising, social media, support messages, or other communications adds to it, except to the extent applicable law treats a statement as binding on CardPlan.
- Everything else. All other provisions of the General Terms, including Sections 3 through 10, 15, 17, 21, 23 through 26, and 28 through 37, apply to the Lifetime Deal.
Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings in the General Terms.
2. Definitions
- "Covered Service" means the CardPlan Connected features listed as included in the Feature Schedule, as they exist and are offered by CardPlan from time to time. The Covered Service is a defined service. It is not CardPlan's entire business, and it does not include Premium Offerings.
- "Lifetime Access" means your non-exclusive, non-transferable right, which may end as provided in these Lifetime Terms, to use the Covered Service on your CardPlan account without further payment for the Covered Service, for the Lifetime Period.
- "Lifetime Period" has the meaning in Section 4.
- "Institution Connection" means a single active connection, made through a third-party financial connectivity provider, to one financial institution. Several credit cards held at the same institution may share one Institution Connection.
- "Premium Offering" means any feature, product, service, integration, data source, usage volume, or capability that CardPlan designates as separately priced or optional, including those described in Section 6.
- "Successor Service" means a service that replaces or continues all or part of the Covered Service, whether operated by CardPlan or by another person.
3. The Offer, Price, and Eligibility
The Lifetime Deal is a single, one-time payment in U.S. dollars at the price shown at checkout, plus any taxes CardPlan is required to collect, shown before you pay. There is no recurring charge, automatic renewal, or trial conversion. CardPlan does not store your full payment-card number; payments are processed by a third-party payment processor.
The Lifetime Deal is offered for one CardPlan account per purchaser. You must meet the eligibility requirements in Section 1 of the General Terms. The Lifetime Deal is available only to accounts that do not already have paid Connected access. If you hold an active monthly or annual subscription, buying the Lifetime Deal does not cancel it and does not entitle you to a refund or credit for it; see Section 15. CardPlan may decline, limit, or cancel a purchase that it reasonably believes is fraudulent, mistaken, abusive, or in violation of these Lifetime Terms. If CardPlan cancels a purchase because of a mistake on its part, it will refund the payment.
4. What "Lifetime" Means
"Lifetime" refers to the operational life of the Covered Service. Lifetime Access begins when CardPlan confirms your purchase and continues until the earliest of: (a) CardPlan discontinues the Covered Service as a whole under Section 11; (b) Lifetime Access ends under Section 12 or 13; or (c) Lifetime Access is revoked under Section 14.
"Lifetime" does not mean your lifetime or any other person's lifetime. It does not mean forever, for any minimum period, or for as long as CardPlan, the website, or any particular feature exists. Lifetime Access may end sooner or later than any period you expect. CardPlan makes no promise that the Covered Service will be offered for any minimum period of time.
5. What Is Included and Not Included
Lifetime Access includes the Covered Service as described in the Feature Schedule, on CardPlan's web and mobile applications where CardPlan offers them. Features, screens, calculations, supported institutions, data fields, and refresh frequency may change as described in Section 11. Anything not listed as included in the Feature Schedule, including every Premium Offering and priority support, is not included.
6. Premium Offerings and Separate Charges
Lifetime Access covers only the Covered Service. CardPlan may in its discretion develop, designate, and charge separately for Premium Offerings now or in the future, including: new or additional products and services; artificial-intelligence and other automated features, which may carry usage-based costs; new or additional integrations and data sources; connections beyond the allowance in Section 7; additional or higher usage, storage, refresh frequency, or support levels; and features delivered through new platforms or by third parties. Subject to Section 11, CardPlan decides in its discretion whether a new capability is part of the Covered Service or a Premium Offering. Buying the Lifetime Deal does not entitle you to any Premium Offering, discount, or priority.
7. Institution Connections, Fair Use, and Third-Party Dependencies
Connection allowance. Lifetime Access includes up to five (5) Institution Connections at the same time. If you are at the allowance, you must disconnect one before adding another. Reconnecting the same institution does not add a connection. CardPlan may change the allowance prospectively by notice to you if CardPlan's provider costs, provider terms, security needs, or legal obligations materially change.
Third-party dependencies. The Covered Service depends on third parties, including financial institutions, a financial connectivity provider, payment processors, mobile app stores, cloud and email providers, and others. CardPlan does not control them and does not guarantee that any institution, account type, data field, or connection will be supported, accurate, timely, or continuously available. A connection may stop working, require reauthorization, or become unavailable if an institution, provider, or third party changes, suspends, restricts, or ends its service or terms, or raises its prices. CardPlan is not responsible for those events. If a third-party dependency becomes unavailable or uneconomic, CardPlan may modify or discontinue the affected part of the Covered Service under Section 11.
Fair use. You may use the Covered Service for your own personal planning, consistent with Section 15 of the General Terms. CardPlan may apply reasonable rate limits, usage limits, and security controls (such as additional verification or session limits) to protect the Covered Service, its providers, and other users.
8. Inactivity and Disconnection of Bank Connections
Financial connections carry ongoing third-party costs. If your account has no activity for 90 consecutive days, CardPlan may disconnect your Institution Connections. "Activity" means signing in to or otherwise using your account in CardPlan's web or mobile application.
Before disconnecting, CardPlan will send a notice to the email address on your account at least 14 days before the disconnection date. If you use your account after the notice and before the disconnection date, the pending disconnection is canceled. A disconnection removes or invalidates the provider credential CardPlan holds for the connection and stops future data updates through it. Disconnection does not end Lifetime Access, and your Lifetime Access otherwise remains in place.
After a disconnection, you may reconnect eligible institutions at any time, subject to the allowance in Section 7, institution and provider availability, and these Lifetime Terms. Cards created from a connection may remain in your account as manually maintained cards, as described in the Privacy Policy. CardPlan does not guarantee that data from before the disconnection will be refreshed or backfilled on reconnection.
CardPlan may also disconnect an Institution Connection, with notice where practicable, when Lifetime Access ends, when a provider or institution requires it, or for security, legal, or abuse reasons.
9. Security and Anti-Abuse
You may not (and may not help anyone to): share, sell, rent, lend, or give access to your account or Lifetime Access; use more than one account or identity to obtain Lifetime Access more than once or to avoid the allowance or any other limit; use the Covered Service for anyone else's benefit or for business, commercial, or resale purposes; scrape, resell, or bulk-extract data; interfere with the security or operation of the Covered Service or its providers; use stolen, unauthorized, or fraudulent payment methods; or initiate a payment dispute or chargeback in bad faith or without first giving CardPlan a reasonable chance to resolve a problem. Section 21 of the General Terms also applies. If CardPlan reasonably believes you have violated this Section, CardPlan may refuse or cancel a purchase, suspend or end Lifetime Access, disconnect connections, and refuse future sales to you, with notice where reasonable and legally required.
10. Nontransferability
Lifetime Access is personal to the purchaser. It may not be sold, resold, gifted, assigned, inherited, or otherwise transferred to any other person or account, and it does not pass to any other person on your death or incapacity, except where applicable law requires otherwise. Any attempted transfer is void. Section 31 of the General Terms (Assignment) and Section 12 of these Lifetime Terms describe how CardPlan may assign its own rights.
11. Changes, Suspension, and Discontinuation
CardPlan may at any time, in its discretion and subject to applicable law: add, remove, modify, replace, restructure, limit, suspend, or discontinue the Covered Service or any part of it; change how features are delivered, named, packaged, or priced for others; migrate the Covered Service to a Successor Service, platform, provider, or technology; and discontinue the Covered Service as a whole.
CardPlan will give you notice of a discontinuation of the Covered Service as a whole by email to your account address or by notice in the application, with as much advance notice as is reasonably practicable and any additional notice applicable law requires. CardPlan does not promise any minimum period of notice, and a shorter period may apply where needed because of security, legal, provider, insolvency, or other circumstances outside CardPlan's reasonable control.
Core Functionality. "Core Functionality" means the features listed in Section 1 of the Feature Schedule version you accepted. Despite the first paragraph of this Section 11, while CardPlan continues to offer the Covered Service, CardPlan will not remove Core Functionality from Lifetime Access, or move it behind a new or additional charge, as a way of obtaining further payment from you for what you purchased. This does not limit CardPlan's right to: (a) improve, modify, redesign, rename, rebuild, migrate, or replace Core Functionality, provided the result serves substantially the same purpose; (b) apply the limits in Sections 7 and 8; (c) add, change, or remove anything that is not Core Functionality; (d) develop and sell new products and Premium Offerings; (e) remove or restrict Core Functionality, in whole or in part, to the extent needed because a third-party provider or institution changes or ends its service, because its cost has materially and unavoidably increased, or because of security or legal requirements; or (f) discontinue the Covered Service as a whole as described below. This paragraph is not a promise that the Covered Service will be offered for any minimum period of time.
When the Covered Service is discontinued as a whole, Lifetime Access ends. CardPlan has no obligation to provide a refund, credit, or Successor Service, except where applicable law requires otherwise or CardPlan elects to do so in its sole discretion. If CardPlan elects to offer a Successor Service, CardPlan will tell you what it includes, any limits or charges, and how to access it. Your continued Lifetime Access to any Successor Service exists only if and as CardPlan states in that notice.
12. Sale, Merger, Reorganization, and Shutdown
CardPlan may assign or transfer these Lifetime Terms, your Lifetime Access, and your data (subject to the Privacy Policy and applicable law) in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, sale of assets or of a business line, corporate reorganization, change in operating entity, or similar transaction, and may license, sell, or transfer the Covered Service or its operation to another person. These Lifetime Terms bind and benefit CardPlan's successors and assigns.
A transaction of that kind does not by itself end Lifetime Access or release CardPlan or its successor from any obligation that these Lifetime Terms or applicable law impose. After a transaction, CardPlan or its successor has the same rights under Section 11, including the right to modify or discontinue the Covered Service, as CardPlan has under these Lifetime Terms.
If CardPlan ceases operations or winds down, Lifetime Access ends on the shutdown date. CardPlan will give notice as described in Section 11 and will handle your data as described in the Privacy Policy and as the law requires.
13. Ending Lifetime Access
By you. You may stop using the Covered Service at any time. If you close or delete your CardPlan account, Lifetime Access ends and is forfeited without refund. If you later open a new account, you would need to buy again if CardPlan then offers the Lifetime Deal. Deleting the application or disconnecting a financial account does not by itself end Lifetime Access.
By CardPlan. In addition to Section 11, CardPlan may suspend or end Lifetime Access for violation of these Lifetime Terms or the General Terms, fraud, abuse, security threats, unauthorized access, legal requirements, or a payment dispute or reversal, as described in Sections 9 and 14 of these Lifetime Terms and Section 27 of the General Terms. Where reasonable and legally required, CardPlan will give notice.
14. All Sales Final; Refunds, Reversals, and Disputes
All Lifetime Deal sales are final. CardPlan offers no voluntary refund period, cancellation right, trial, or money-back guarantee for the Lifetime Deal. Changing your mind, not using the service, finding an institution unsupported, or the later modification or discontinuation of the Covered Service in accordance with these Lifetime Terms is not, by itself, a reason for a refund.
Exceptions. CardPlan will provide a refund or other remedy: (a) where applicable law requires it, and nothing in these Lifetime Terms limits a refund, cancellation, rescission, or other right that applicable law does not permit you to waive; (b) to correct a duplicate or erroneous charge, or a charge made without your authorization; and (c) where CardPlan, in its sole discretion, authorizes one in a particular case. A discretionary refund in one case does not create a right to a refund in any other case. To request a remedy, contact us and describe the problem.
Effect on access. A full refund or reversal of the Lifetime Deal payment ends Lifetime Access for that payment. A partial refund does not end Lifetime Access unless CardPlan states otherwise.
Payment disputes and chargebacks. Please contact CardPlan before disputing a charge with your card issuer. If you open a payment dispute, CardPlan may suspend Lifetime Access while the dispute is pending. If the dispute is decided in your favor and you are refunded, Lifetime Access ends. If the dispute is decided in CardPlan's favor, CardPlan will restore Lifetime Access that it suspended. CardPlan may refuse future sales to an account whose dispute is lost by the purchaser.
15. Existing Subscriptions
Buying the Lifetime Deal does not cancel, refund, credit, or prorate any monthly or annual subscription. If you hold one when you buy, you must cancel it yourself through the cancellation method described in the General Terms to avoid further subscription charges. Subscription cancellation and Lifetime Access are separate. While you hold both, the subscription terms continue to apply to the subscription.
16. Service Availability
Section 22 of the General Terms applies. The Covered Service may be unavailable, interrupted, delayed, or limited because of maintenance, outages, security events, changes by third parties, or events beyond CardPlan's reasonable control. CardPlan does not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, any uptime level, or any particular refresh frequency.
17. Planning Tool; Financial Disclaimers
CardPlan is a self-directed planning and educational tool, and Sections 3 through 7 of the General Terms apply to the Lifetime Deal. CardPlan does not provide financial, credit, legal, tax, or other professional advice and does not guarantee any credit-score, credit-reporting, approval, lending, savings, or payoff outcome. Calculations are estimates based on information that you enter or that third parties supply and that may be incomplete or out of date. You are responsible for your financial decisions and for confirming balances, due dates, and amounts with your card issuer. Do not rely on CardPlan as the sole record of a deadline, payment, or account.
18. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
Sections 24 (Disclaimer of Warranties) and 25 (Limitation of Liability) of the General Terms apply to the Lifetime Deal. They apply to the Lifetime Deal without modification.
Nothing in these Lifetime Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, willful injury, or gross negligence, or any other liability that applicable law does not allow to be excluded or limited, and nothing limits any statutory remedy or right that cannot lawfully be waived. If a limitation or disclaimer is unenforceable for a particular claim, it applies to that claim only to the fullest extent the law allows.
19. Dispute Resolution
Section 23 of the General Terms, including informal resolution, individual binding arbitration under the American Arbitration Association's consumer rules, the class-action waiver, the small-claims carve-out, the preservation of non-waivable rights, and the 30-day opt-out described there, applies to all disputes relating to the Lifetime Deal and these Lifetime Terms. If you opted out of arbitration under Section 23(G) of the General Terms, that opt-out also applies to the Lifetime Deal. Nothing in these Lifetime Terms limits your right to complain to a government agency.
20. Changes to These Lifetime Terms and the Feature Schedule
CardPlan may update these Lifetime Terms and publish new versions of the Feature Schedule prospectively, consistent with Section 29 of the General Terms. Each version has a version identifier. CardPlan keeps a record of the versions you accepted at purchase and will provide a copy of a prior version on request. A change that applicable law requires your consent for will not apply to you without that consent. Your continued use after a change takes effect is acceptance only to the extent the law permits. A change does not give you a right to a refund except as stated in Section 14.
21. Electronic Acceptance and Records
Before payment you will be asked to confirm, by an affirmative action in your CardPlan account, that you have read and agree to these Lifetime Terms, the Feature Schedule, and the General Terms. CardPlan keeps a record of that acceptance, including the document versions and wording shown to you, your account, the date and time, and the associated purchase, as described in the Privacy Policy. You will receive a purchase confirmation by email.
22. General
These Lifetime Terms are governed by the law stated in Section 30 of the General Terms. If a provision of these Lifetime Terms is unenforceable, it will be enforced to the fullest extent the law permits and the rest will remain in effect. CardPlan's failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. Sections 31 through 36 of the General Terms apply. Provisions that by their nature should survive the end of Lifetime Access will survive, including Sections 10, 14, 17 through 19, and 22. Questions about these Lifetime Terms: contact us or write to privacy@getcardplan.com.
